Dal Tadka · The Final Pinch
Share
Some recipes are cooked with ingredients. The best ones are finished with love—and one final pinch from Nani.
A Bowl That Feels Like Home
There are few dishes as comforting as a warm bowl of Dal Tadka served with steamed rice or fresh rotis. It is simple, nourishing, and found on almost every Indian dining table.
But if you ever wondered why Nani's Dal Tadka always tasted richer, more aromatic, and somehow impossible to recreate, the answer was never complicated.
She always believed that the last pinch matters the most.
Just before serving, she'd sprinkle her signature spice blend over the dal, giving it an irresistible aroma and a perfectly balanced flavour. Today, you can recreate that same tradition with My Nani's Secret Nani Namak.

Step 7
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot.
Nani's Secret Tip
Never add Nani Namak while boiling the dal. Sprinkle it at the very end to preserve its rich aroma and signature flavour. That's the little secret that makes every bowl taste homemade.
